Translate Bubble Help

Access

This routine translates the source file A main repository of STORIS data, for example, the Customer file. for bubble Help A caption balloon containing additional Help text that appears (if available) when you hover your mouse over a STORIS field. A caption appears with a brief explanation of the field. (a.k.a. "tool tip" or "hover text") to or from a selected foreign language. Use this routine to:

• export a STORIS source file to an Excel® spreadsheet to create an English-language version of the source file , or

• import a spreadsheet with a foreign-language version of the source file to overwrite the existing source file.

 Bubble help appears (if available) when you hover your mouse over a field. A caption appears with a brief explanation of the field.  

Module  Enter the code of the module whose bubble help you want to translate to another language. If you click on the Arrow, a pull-down menu appears from which you can choose a module name.

Direction

Bubble HelpTo access this field , you must select Export at the Direction field. Use this field to specify whether to export all bubble help or only un-translated bubble help.

Foreign LangEnter the code of the language to which you want to translate descriptions. If you click on the Arrow button, a list languages available to you appears.

Send Output toThis field indicates where the output of this report is to be sent. To select a different output option, use the Output Settings option from the Actions menu.      

Export PathThis field indicates the computer path (drive, folder, file name) to which the report output will be sent. To select a different path, use the Output Settings option from the Actions menu.
