Use this routine to maintain a list of ‘throw-away’ terms you can tell the system to ignore when using the Customer Ship-To Address Lookup inquiry. Throw-away terms include street name suffixes (for example, St., Blvd, etc…) that, if entered improperly, can cause the search to not find your intended address.
For example, if you enter 18 Winding Way but the customer lives at 18 Winding Lane, the system will not find the address. However, if you enter "Way" and "Lane" into the Address Exception List Settings, the Customer Ship-To Address Lookup will ignore those words in the search and return all invoices for customers whose address includes "18 Winding".
These settings are ignored when searching for a customer using the Street field in Search for a Customer.
