Use this screen to enter the General Ledger sub-account for the current record.
Enter the GL root account you want to use when posting transactions for this record. If you click on the Arrow, a list of accounts to which you have access appears, from which you can choose. If you click on the Search button, a menu appears and you can choose either the GL Account Selection window or the TPA Account Description Index window to aid your search. You must enter a valid General Ledger account.
Sub-AccountEnter the GL sub-account you want to use when posting transactions for this record. If you click on the arrow, a list of accounts to which you have access appears from which you can choose (restricted to the sub-accounts linked to the specified root account), from which you can choose. If you click on the Search button, you access the GL Account Description Lookup, which you can use to aid your search. You must enter a valid General Ledger account.
Enter a valid cost center code to be added to the GL account when transactions are posted for this record.
Cost centers are set up automatically in STORIS when Location records are created. If using TPA (Third-Party Accounting) Of or relating to an outside accounting software system such as QuickBooks® and used to interface STORIS data with such a system. The STORIS TPA interface is used as an alternative to STORIS Accounting.. you must set up a matching cost center as a Class in the third-party accounting software for each cost center in STORIS. This cost center is used to track all GL activity involving this GL account for this GL record, regardless of the locations for individual transactions.
If only one cost center is available based on cost center restrictions passed and the cost centers linked to the parent account, that cost center appears in this field and you cannot edit the field.
