In addition to original cost, Receive a Purchase Order With a Separate Freight Bill (Container Receiving) provides the option to base the distribution of freight dollars on weight or volume units (typically, cubic feet).
Set the Action for this Batch field in Container Receiving entry to Close Batch.
At the Freight Distribution By field, select either Volume or Weight.
When using this feature, the system checks each associated Product record for the Shipping Weight or Volume. If not found, the system checks the appropriate product Group record for a value in the Capacity Units or Capacity Weight fields.
