Run a Report
(Run Query Wizard)
Access
Run a Report is the final step in the Report Builder
process. After the report has been created using the Create
a Report (Query Wizard Builder) routine, use Run a Report to generate
the report. You can also view reports by attaching them to STORIS menus
using the Set
Up Menus routine.
Report NameEnter or select from the
grid the report you want to run. Click the Run
button at the bottom of the screen to proceed.
Summary OnlyThis field
appears only if you choose a dictionary
item for break and another for total when creating the report in the Create a Report (Query Wizard Builder).
If you check this box, the report omits the details and includes only
the totals for the item you selected for break.
After you select the Run
button, the next screen displays the run-time options for the report.
If additional run-time prompts were built into this report, they display
on this screen as well. If you entered text into the Run Time Instructions
field in the Create a Report routine, the text appears here.
Send Output
toThe output destination of
the report displays. To change the output destination, click on
the Actions button and select Output
Settings.
Export PathIf you
select either the Personal
Report Viewer (PRV), Excel Export,
or ASCII Export, this field displays the pre-set computer drive and folder
location to which the system exports the report data. You cannot edit
the export path using this process.
After the run-time options have been selected, choose Run
to produce the report.
