Maximum Trade Discount Window

Use this routine to make changes to the maximum trade discount percent available for the line item on a trade sales order. Note that any change you make to the trade discount percent results in the generation of an exception record, which you can report during EOD or on demand via Report Sales Exceptions.

Maximum Trade DiscountThe maximum trade discount percent that you established for the product or vendor displays. To change the maximum trade discount percent that is available for this line item only, enter the percentage here. Changing this field does not affect your product and vendor settings.

In order to make changes on this screen, you need to have the Change maximum trade discount for a sales line sales security setting enabled, or you must obtain a security override from a user with permission to make changes.
