Use this routine to manually run the credit/debit card settlement process. This routine contacts the credit/debit service and finalizes all pending transactions that have been authorized since the last settlement process. While the settlement process is active, you cannot authorize additional credit/debit card transactions. Once complete, the program generates a Settlement Report listing all authorization activity that has been finalized.
We recommend you run this process at the end of each business day, before you run the End-of-Day Cycle process. We presume you will not need to authorize additional credit/debit card transactions during this period, and the system will still be available before the cycle process runs. If for some reason the settlement cannot be performed at this time, the cycling process will not be affected.
The system settles all host-based merchants automatically during the End-of-Day process. You cannot select host-based merchants for manual settlement using this routine. However, for terminal-based merchants, the Automatic Settlement field in the Electronic Merchant Settings provides the option to settle manually via the Credit Card Settlement process or automatically via the End-of Day process.

for terminals (Pinpads) that have been submitted.
There are no prompts to enter; click the Run
button to proceed with the settlement for all pin pads (terminal ID's)
