Initialize Radio Frequency Transfer Receiving
(Initialize Transfer Receiving)
Access
Use this process when receiving transfers using
the Radio Frequency Bar Code process. By initializing the transfer batch,
the system records the list of items that are scheduled to be received
that day and creates the transfer receiving update batch.
This routine may be affected by Regional
Processing restrictions. That is, you may not have access to all customers
and locations.
To use this process, transfers must be on a manifest.
From LocationEnter
the code for the location from which the transfer is being initiated.
If you click on the Arrow, you can choose from the drop-down list of locations
available to you. Note that here
and at any other Location field, the locations you see (that is, the list
of locations available to you) may be affected by Regional
Processing restrictions.
Route CodeThe transfer
must have a valid route
code added and it must be on a Transfer Manifest in order to proceed
further. Use the Search option
at this field to select a location from the list of valid route codes.
TruckEnter
a truck number. This field is only active if mapping is enabled
for Transfers for the From Location via the Active Types field on the
Inventory & Logistics tab in Warehouse/Store
Location Settings. If mapping is enabled, entry in this field is mandatory.
Scheduled DateEnter
the scheduled date of the transfer. Click the calendar icon to the right
of the entry field to select a date from the drop-down calendar.
Once
the Location, Route Code, and Scheduled Date have been entered, click
the Save button at the bottom
of the screen to proceed. The system will display a Warning message “Transfer
Initialization is complete!” Click OK.
