Floor Samples

To activate the Floor Sample feature in your system...

1. specify a floor sample code at the Floor Sample field on the Misc tab in the Inventory Control Settings.

2. use the Sell designated floor sample merchandise field in the Extended Security (Sales) settings to authorize selected users to sell floor samples or apply a floor sample code to a piece in inventory.

Once you complete these steps, authorized users can

• sell floor sample pieces via order entry and

• apply a floor sample code to pieces in inventory via either of the following:

- Enter a Floor Sample Transfer

- Enter a Stock Adjustment
