Use this file to specify the control settings for
your third-party accounting (TPA)
interface. The General tab contains controls not specific to any particular
accounting package.
The Intuit and Generic tabs contain the controls you need to interface
with specific third-party accounting packages.
General
Item Code for Customer RefundsEnter
the item code to use when adding a customer return.
Date of Last GL SynchronizationThis is
a read-only field that displays the date of the last time your GL Account
Synchronization was run. You should run the GL Sync after adding a new
account to your TPA package.
Days Before Purging History LogEnter the number of days you want to
expire before the system purges the TPA history log.
Summarize GL PostingsIf you
check the box, the system summarizes GL postings before transmission to
the TPA. If you leave the box blank, the system transmits GL postings
in detailed format.
Summarize By Company, By dateIf you
checked the box at the Summarize GL Postings field, use this field to
determine the level at which to summarize GL postings. If you choose By
Posting Source, By Account, the system combines only those GL batches
that have the same posting source. If you choose By Account, the system
combines GL batches with different posting sources.
Intuit
If using the Intuit Integrated Financials interface, STORIS comes delivered
with default settings for QuickBooks®.
We strongly advise you not change these settings, with the following exception:
Use Account Numbers
(QB Only)
This setting should be determined by your company.
Default Vendor TypeEnter the default vendor
type that QuickBooks®
assigns to vendors transferred from STORIS.
Optimal Number of TransactionsThis value
is used for fine-tuning the performance of data transmissions between
STORIS and QuickBooks®.
Use Account Numbers (QB Only)To use
account numbers rather than account names in QuickBooks®, select this field. Otherwise,
leave the field blank.
QuickBooks VersionIndicate
the version of QuickBooks®
you are using (United States or Canada).
QuickBooks 2010 or AboveIf using QuickBooks, and
your release is 2010 or above, check the box at this field. Otherwise,
leave the field blank.
QuickBooks 2010 or AboveIf using
QuickBooks, and your release is 2010 or above, check the box at this field.
Otherwise, leave the field blank. This field is active only
if you set your QuickBooks version to "Canada".
Multi-Company Refund Item CodeEnter
the code you want the system to transmit to QuickBooks® for multi-company refunds.
For multi-company refunds, this code supercedes the code entered at the
Item Code for Customer Refunds field on the General tab. You associate
this code with a GL account in QuickBooks in the same way you set up a
receivables account for single-company refunds.
Generic
Allow Multiple Export Files at One TimeTo prevent
the system from checking for existing export files, check the box. Otherwise,
leave the field blank.
Allow Transmitted AP Bill DeletionTo allow
users to delete AP Bills transmitted to the generic interface , check
the box. Otherwise, leave the box blank.
