Credit Employment Status Settings

• Accounting > Receivables> Credit Applications Settings > Credit Employment Status Settings

To create a new employment status code, enter a single number or letter to identify this employment status. This is a mandatory field. To edit an existing code, enter the letter or number or select it from the grid.

Enter up to 35 characters to describe this employment status code. Entry is mandatory. To access the Description Field - Language Translation Entry window, click the Action button at this field.  

To require entry of employment information on the application when this employment status is selected, check this box. If you leave the box blank, entry in the employment information fields is not mandatory when this status is selected on the employment tab.

 This check box can be used to either make entry of the employment information required or not required, regardless of whether the fields are set to mandatory or optional entry in your Credit Application Control Settings.

The grid displays already established status codes, along with codes you added in this session. Displayed for each code listed in the grid are the Status code, Description, and Employment Information Required (Y/N). To edit the Employment Status ID, Description, and/or Require Employment Information setting for a status, double-click the line in the grid.
