Credit Bureau Code Settings

Use this routine to maintain the message codes returned by your credit bureaus in the Credit Application process. These codes and descriptions are supplied by the credit bureau. If the credit bureau adds new codes, you use this process to enter them into STORIS. The credit report request process uses these codes when processing the Credit Report file.
Credit Bureau Code Click on the Arrow button and select a code from the list of all active credit bureaus, as defined in Credit Application Control Settings.
SectionClick on the Arrow button and select a section from the list of all the available sections for the specified credit bureau.
CodeEnter a new code or use the Search button to select an existing code. These codes are provided in a manual from the credit bureau.
DescriptionUse this text box to enter or edit a description of the selected bureau code. You can enter up to 200 alphanumeric characters. This text appears on the credit report when the current code is referenced. (For example, "Application surname does not match credit report" or "Too many bank or national revolving/open accounts with outstanding balances.") If you click the Actions button at the bottom of the screen, you can use the Description Translation feature. (See below.)
