Use this file to establish grades for vendors you use with the Product Configurator. Most vendors develop their own grade system for their products. For the sake of simplicity and continuity, STORIS recommends you adhere to the vendor's naming system, if one exists, when creating grades and other Configurator See Product Configurator components.
VendorEnter the code of the vendor you want to associate with this fabric grade. To select from a list of valid vendor codes, click the Search button to the right of the entry field.
Grade KeyEnter an alphanumeric code to identify this fabric grade. To access a list of previously created Grade Keys for this vendor, click the Search button to the right of the entry field.
Grade DescriptionEnter the description for this grade. If you base the grading scheme for this vendor on the vendor's grading system, the description you enter here should identify the vendor grade with which you associate this description.
Fabric/Option Suite, Frame Suite
Use these optional fields to create a grade override matrix. Enter suite codes to associate this vendor, frame suite, and fabric/option suite with the selected grade. Click the Search button to access the Read-Only Lookup Window, from which you can select a suite. The suite you enter at each field must be valid for this vendor. Click the Add (plus) button to update the grid with your entries.
The Fabric/Option Suite and Frame Suite combinations you added to the grid, if any, are used to create a grade override matrix. This grade override matrix is checked in the Special Order Configurator screen within the Enter a Sales Order process to determine if a grade override should be used when calculating the current configuration. The grid displays the Fabric/Option Suite and Frame Suite codes you added for this vendor and grade key. Use the Remove button in the Remove column to delete a line in the grid.
