The following options are available from the Actions menu on the Customer Tab of Service Order entry.
The Customer Full Display screen will provide information such as Contact, Class, Price Category, Tax Number, Taxable, etc. for the customer for whom this service order is being entered/updated.
Any changes made to these customer fields from this screen will only apply to the service order currently being created/modified.
For example, if the Taxable status is changed from active (service to this customer is subject to tax) to inactive (not subject to tax), the customer is only tax exempt for the current service order.
The Transaction Totals Full Display screen provides access to the Totals and Sales Tax screens.
Using these screens, users may add a COD amount, apply additional taxes, and display original payments.
Any changes made on these screens will only apply to the service order currently being created/modified.
The Order Document Comments screen is used to view, update, and print service order comments.
Select the Update Comments field to access the Comments Entry screen, where comments may be manually entered for the current service order ONLY.
The Reinstate Completed Merchandise Service screen is used to re-open a previously closed Service Merchandise Line.
Non-merchandise and stock service order lines are not available for reinstatement.
The line reinstated may have been closed on another Service Order or previously on the current Service Order.
This option will only be available if the Customer Service Advanced Control Settings field “Allow Service Order to be Reinstated" is selected and the user has the required Staff security.
Select the Convert to In-Shop Service option to convert an In-Home service order to an In-Shop service order.
This will be available to users with full Customer Service access only.
No Non-Merchandise Service lines may exist.
Select the Convert to In-Home Service option to convert an In-Shop service order to an In-Home service order.
The Service Merchandise must be in the customer’s possession.
There cannot be open COG documents.
