Use this routine to move all or a portion of the pieces in one storage location to another storage location. You specify a location-tracked warehouse location and a storage location within the selected warehouse.
All pieces currently in the selected storage location (including Available, As-Is , and Assigned pieces) appear in the grid - each piece in a separate row. You can then specify a destination storage location and select the pieces you want to move by checking the box on the grid row. After you save, the system
moves the selected pieces out of the From location and into the To location and
removes all selected pieces from the grid in the event you want to move additional pieces.
This process is available only if Location Tracking is available at the system level (that is, location tracking is set to Y in the Inventory Control Settings). This process is not available for Invisible Location Tracking.
Check the box for the items you want to select. If you click on All, the system checks all the boxes in the grid. For bulk products, you must transfer the entire quantity in the storage location or none at all.
When loading the grid, if the system finds any pieces in RF picking, the system excludes the pieces and displays a message to that effect. However, the system transfers bulk pieces regardless and be updates them appropriately.
