The following are valid selections at the Action field on the FR Receivables Manual Adjustments Detail screen.
Select S/Re-Submit to resubmit the financing that was previously rejected (by the Finance Provider), but will be resubmitted on the same Payment Type.
Once this option has been selected, the program closes (reverses) the Usage Fee and balance in the original batch.
The original transactions are moved to a closed batch and a new transaction is created in the current un-transmitted batch for the same Payment Type.
The net effect is that the transaction is moved from an open transmitted batch to an open un-transmitted batch
Select W/Re-Write to rewrite the transaction with a new Payment Type code.
The program does NOT allow this process to be used for Manual Post or On Account transactions.
The program CAN be used for 3rd Party Deposits and Invoiced Sales Orders, Customer Returns, Open Item Payments, and Gift Certificates.
Enter a new 3rd Party Payment Type code to which this transaction is to be re-assigned .
If the new Payment Type code is associated with a different Finance Provider, the program will notify the user with a message (Note! This payment type belongs to finance provider *XXXX), but will continue. (*“XXXX” represents the Financing Provider Settings code.)
When the new Payment Type is entered, the system checks the store location against the Limit Use to Stores field in the Payment Type record .
The transactions will be closed (reversed) in the original batch, and new transactions are created in the current un-transmitted batch for the new 3rd Party Payment Type. The order/memo is updated with the new Payment Type.
Select J/Reject if the transaction could not be processed by the Finance Provider and a Rewrite or Resubmit is not desired.
The program does NOT allow this process to be used for Manual Post or On Account transactions.
The program CAN be used for 3rd Party Deposits and Invoiced Sales Orders, Customer Returns, Open Item Payments, and Gift Certificates.
Once this option has been selected, the Rejected payment will be handled as follows:
Deposit - If the deposit is still intact (order not completed), the authorization will be removed and the order will be placed on hold (F3). The deposit must then be either deleted or approved - see Approve Financing (3rd Party Financing Approvals).
Completed order (Financed Amount) - The financing will be removed from the completed order. The Usage Fee on the transaction (if any) will be reversed and an Open Item A/R (financed amount) will be created for the customer.
Select A/Add Transaction to add a manual adjustment to the current batch.
The program will offer MAN ADJ as the default in the Memo field. Press Enter to accept the default or enter a reference for this adjustment.
Enter the Adjustment Amount for this transaction. This may be a positive or negative dollar amount.
Select C/Change Detail to change the finance account number, authorization number, and dispute status.
If the transaction selected to change is a manual adjustment entered during this entry session, the program will permit changes to be made to that adjustment's amount and memo reference, as well as the Account Number, Authorization, and Disputed status (see above).
