Export Customer Sales Lead Activity
Access
Use this routine to export sales
lead activity to a .TXT file that you can use to create
mailing lists or other sales-related customer data lists. You use
the program of your choice to create labels from the .TXT file. Use this
routine for contacts with no open quotes. For contacts with open quotes,
you can use the Export Quote
Activity routine.
Use the fields below to restrict the output of the routine. That is,
if you leave all the fields blank (with the exception of the Location
field, where you must specify one or more locations), the routine adds
all sales lead activity to the .TXT file.
Date of First ContactEnter
the beginning and ending dates of the range of first contact dates you
want to include in this report. The system searches the Contact
file for the date on which contact was first established with each customer
in the Contact file.
Date of Last UpdateEnter
the beginning and ending dates of the range of last update dates you want
to include in this report. The system searches the Contact
file for the current lead record (if any) of each contact and references

Date of Next ActivityEnter

want to include in this report. The system searches the Contact
file for the current lead record (if any) of each contact and references
the Next Action Date.

Availability of Quote
When you click on Run, the program
creates a .TXT file. The first row contains the column headings. The remaining
rows contain the data from the selected sales leads, one row per contact.
If you included contacts with open sales quotes, product information from
the quote displays. If
a contact has more than 3 products on a quote, the file includes only
the first three. The .TXT file contains the following for each sales lead:
