Use this inquiry to display costing and quantity information for a specific product.

Each time you add a product to inventory via warehouse receiving entry programs or via inventory adjustments, the system creates a new FIFO layer An inventory level assigned to items whenever they are received into the system, whether by PO receiving, customer return memo completion, or inventory adjustment. The system assigns the same layer number to items received at the same time and at the same price..  The system maintains this cost and quantity information in an internal file called the Costing Table.  Use this routine to view the contents of the Costing Table.

The system purges the Costing Table based on the retention days specified in the (Days to Hold) Costing Table Data field in the Costing Control Settings.

The output of this report may be affected by Regional Processing restrictions.

A counter next to the Product field indicates a product list is currently active. The counter indicates which record in the list is currently being edited and the total number of records in the list. Use the Previous and Next buttons to move between items on the list.

ProductEnter the code of the product you want to view. You can also enter the number of the valid As-Is A status of inventory. Most inventory is considered "regular" inventory. As-is inventory includes everything other than regular inventory, including floor samples, damaged and clearance items, etc. product whose FIFO costing layers and quantity information you want to view. If you click on the Search button, you access the Search for a Product window, from which you can choose a product or create a list of products to view.

Vendor Model NumberThe vendor model number displays for the selected product.

BrandThe brand displays for the selected product.

Details

Average CostThe weighted average cost displays for the selected product.   

Replacement CostThe replacement cost from the Product file displays for the selected product.

FreightIf applicable, this field displays the dollar or percentage amount charged by the vendor or freight company when one unit of this product is shipped.

Freight IndicatorIf applicable, this field indicates whether the Freight amount is a dollar (D) amount or percent (P).

Landed Average CostThis is the weighted average cost of the product as it was received into inventory. Depending on settings in the Costing Control Settings (Costing Control ACF), this may include freight and/or add-on costs.

Landed Replacement CostThis is the replacement cost (most recent dollar amount paid to the vendor for one purchase unit of this product) as it was received into inventory. Depending on settings in the Costing Control Settings (Costing Control ACF), this may include freight and/or add-on costs.  The replacement cost displays in both domestic and foreign currency.

ADDON 1, Type, ADDON 2, TypeThese fields display add-on landed costs such as duties, additional freight, broker’s fees, and overhead costs. These fields are identified in the Costing Control Settings (Costing Control ACF). The ADDON fields display the amount of the add-on cost. The Type field displays P if the add-on cost amount is a percentage, or D if the add-on cost amount is a dollar amount.

General

GroupThe Group Settings (Product Group) to which the selected product was assigned will display from the Advanced Product Settings (Product Full) record.

CategoryThe product Category Settings (Category) to which the selected product belongs will display.

CollectionThe Collection Settings (Collection) to which the selected product belongs will display from the Advanced Product Settings (Product Full) record.

Warranty CategoryIf applicable, the warranty category linked to this product will display from the Advanced Product Settings (Product Full) record.

Special Order Information

FrameThe Frame number of the product selected displays here.

Color/Grade, Fabric/Finish, Misc/Grade (CFO's)The Customer Formulated Options, such as Color/Grade, Fabric/Finish, and Misc/Grade display here. See Vendor Special Order Option Settings (Vendor SO Options) file maintenance for more detail regarding CFO's.

Delivery VolumeThe delivery volume displays from the Product file.

Shipping WeightThe shipping weight displays from the Product file.

Shipping VolumeThe shipping volume displays from the Product file.

HeightThe product height displays from the Product file.

WidthThe product width displays from the Product file.

DepthThe product depth displays from the Product file.

Ordering StatusThe selected product's status (Active, Dropped, Discontinued, Purge) will display from the Advanced Product Settings (Product Full) record.

Selling PriceThe price at which your company sells this product displays from the Advanced Product Settings (Product Full) record.

Markdown PriceThe markdown price displays.  

Sale PriceThe sale price for this product displays from the Sale Selling Price field on the Pricing tab When a routine is too large to fit on one screen, it is separated into one or more tabs, so called because they resemble the tabs on filing folders. in the Advanced Product Settings (Product Full) record.

Suggested Retail PriceThe manufacturer's suggested selling price will display from the Advanced Product Settings (Product Full) record.

PO Replacement CostThe replacement cost for the selected product, determined during creation of the purchase order, will display here.  

Average CostThe weighted average cost for the selected product is displayed here. See Advanced Product Settings (Product Full) for more information regarding this field.

Freight Unit CostThis is the dollar amount charged by the vendor or freight company when one unit of this product is shipped to you.

Freight PercentThis the percentage used to calculate the estimated freight cost for the selected product.  

Pieces

Piece NumberTo quickly locate a specific piece in the list, enter the piece reference number in this field. Once a number has been entered, the program locates that piece and highlights the line containing costing layer information for that piece.
