Use this routine to set your preferences for the STORIS Messenger email system.
General Information
History Retention DaysEnter the number of days you want to retain closed STORIS email messages before automatic purging. The End-of-Month process automatically detects deleted messages that are older than the number of days specified here and purges them from the system.
To view a list of deleted messages for a selected user, access the Closed tab in the Send/Review Mail Messages routine.
Faxing EnabledTo enable faxing capability, check the box at this field. Otherwise, leave the box blank.
If you check the box at this field, STORIS Messenger users can fax purchase orders and other documents to vendors, depending on additional setups. Contact your STORIS representative for further detail. Note that the faxing process requires a modem.

VSI-FAX Path(LOCKED - STORIS access ONLY!) Enter the path to the VSI-FAX third-party software program you use to fax purchase orders and other documents from STORIS.
Messaging
Send Message
When an automatic email is generated based upon any of the three following settings, an audit comment is also written to the order document indicating when the message was sent. The comment includes the date, time, location, user initials, and subject (how order has been filled) of the email sent to the employee.

When Received Merchandise is ReservedIndicate the users you want to notify when the system reserves received merchandise. If you click on the Search button, a list of users appears from which you can choose.
Indicate the users you want to notify when an EOD logistical error is reported. If you click on the Search button, a list of users appears from which you can choose. When an EOD Logistical Error is ReportedIndicate the users you want to notify when the system reports an EOD logistical error. If you click on the Search button, a list of users appears from which you can choose.
