Use this routine to maintain your preferences for Point of Sale (POS) Bar Code processing. This routine includes options for printing labels and hang-tags used in POS scanning (point-of-sale scanning) a method of bar code scanning in which you scan floor tags to add merchandise to sales orders. You can also use POS scanners to receive merchandise from purchase orders. functions. You also use this routine to activate the Cash Drawer function.

Cutter Installed(LOCKED - STORIS access ONLY!) If a cutter unit is installed on the bar code printer being used, check the box at this field.  Otherwise, leave the box blank.

Local Print Driver(LOCKED - STORIS access ONLY!) Enter the name of the driver file that controls the bar code printer.  If you click on the Search button, a list of available print drivers appears from which you can choose.

Use Cash DrawersTo activate the Cash Drawer function, check the box. Otherwise, leave the box blank.

If you check the box, the Cash Drawer ID Number field on the Log In screen becomes active and you use that field to specify the cash drawer you want the log-in user to use.

Warehouse ListSpecify one or more warehouses to which you want to apply these label settings.  If you click on the Action button, the Multiple Location Selection screen appears from which you can select the specific warehouses.

The locations you specify here are referenced by the Price Change List.

Hang Tag Settings

Name(LOCKED - STORIS access ONLY!) Enter the name of the program responsible for the creation of hang-tags.

Continuous Stock(LOCKED - STORIS access ONLY!)  If your hang-tag stock is on a continuous roll, check the box at this field. If your hang-tag labels feed individually, leave the box blank.
