Use this routine to specify your preferences when using COM Order Entry/Maintenance (COM (customer's own materials) A STORIS feature allowing customers to add their own materials when creating special order items.) processing.

Enter Component CostIf you want the system to prompt for the component cost when ordering COMs, check the box. If you leave the box blank, you add the cost later on the purchase order.  

Default Component GroupEnter the default group name for COM components. This must be a non-inventory group, such as FABRIC, and the group must be associated with a non-inventory category.
