Assign Screen Action Permission
Access
Use this routine to restrict user access to specific functions found on Actions button menus. Users can specify which actions for particular programs the user group can and cannot access. Actions buttons appear in various programs throughout STORIS, allowing you to access other relevant routines without having to exit your current routine and select the new routine from a menu.
When a user is denied access to a particular item on an Actions menu, that item is not included on the menu listing. In the event that a user is denied access to all items on a particular Actions menu, the Actions button is disabled.
User GroupSelect the User Group from the drop down that you would like to maintain Action permissions for. This list includes all User Groups that have been created in the system. Once a User Group has been selected, the display grid populates an unfiltered view of all available actions, and the accessible actions for the user group will be checked.
