FR Authorization Display Screen

This screen displays information associated with the current electronic payment. The Response Action field displays the response of your financing authorization service, or in the case of certain communications errors, gives the option to manually authorize or decline the payment. Other information associated with the transaction also appears.

This field displays a system-generated response to the financing authorization service's response indicated at the Bank Response field. Whether the service authorizes or declines the payment, this field accepts the decision and you cannot change it. This field displays one of the following authorization responses, depending on the provider and the response returned.

A - Accept Authorization
D - Decline Payment
M - Manual Authorization
R - Retry Authorization

However, if this box is empty, the system is not able to retrieve the financing authorization service's response electronically and you must click on the Arrow to manually authorize or decline the payment.

If you choose to decline the payment, the system

returns you to the sales order,
removes the payment from the order, and
records the payment attempt in the sales order audit comments log.

You can attempt to re-enter the electronic payment or use another payment type to enter the payment.

To manually authorize the electronic payment:

Obtain a verbal authorization number from the authorization service.
Click on the Arrow at the Response Action field.
Select M (manual) from the drop-down menu.
Click OK.

The Manual Authorization Entry Screen appears where you can enter the verbal authorization number.
